McKenna’s was recommended to us by friends because they spoke so highly of all aspects of the planning and implementation.  After seeing the excellent outcome of their project, we concluded that McKenna’s would do fine work in our home as well.

Our kitchen sales associate Meagan Brien realized the perfect design in a creative and personalized manner.  Her ability to balance design with concrete application, her eye for detail, her skill in working diplomatically and sensitively with couples and attention to the financial aspect of certain choices are among her many noteworthy qualities.

Mike Schell, a very knowledgeable bath specialist, was wonderful in helping us make appropriate choices for the modification of our bathroom.  Mike anticipated potential challenges that our bathroom space provided and even called us after we left to advise us of additional implications of some of our choices.

Paul Bradstreet, what a creative, knowledgeable, talented craftsman.  He was able to foresee complications, make recommendations and alter his work accordingly.  The special touches he brought to the kitchen project are a tribute to a craftsman who goes beyond all expectations to meet his own very high standards.

Pete Steltmann was superb as the project manager.  His knowledgeable, calm, creative and sure approach to our project kept the work moving along in a methodic, efficient manner.  It seemed there was no challenge that he could not deal with, no question that could not be addressed in a timely and thorough manner.  His demeanor invites a well-deserved confidence.

We were delighted with our experience with McKenna’s and are grateful to all those involved in realizing our kitchen and bath projects.  We look forward to working with McKenna’s in the future and will always recommend your company to our friends and acquaintances.

We had our kitchen remodel done last November and we wanted to thank your staff for such a wonderful new kitchen and overall experience.   We began our search for what we were looking for in early summer and ironically began looking at McKenna’s first.  From there we went all over Rochester comparing and contrasting workmanship, quality of product and reliability of people involved.  Because we have worked with McKenna’s in the past, we know what to expect.  In the end, we came back to McKenna’s for our project and are very thankful.

In particular we were very pleased to have had a very good experience with Bonnie St. Dennis.  In fact, everything Bonnie mentioned or suggested we have done or modified, we have found from our experience to be precise and exactly what we should have done; her experience and courteous manner prevented us from making mistakes because of our inexperience.  We trusted her.

The team of Bonnie, Pete Steltmann, Max Cormier and Terry Smith was highly professional and very personable.  Pete in particular, as project manager, was very capable and always took care of our concerns when we mentioned them-and there were many.  I couldn’t imagine a better project manager than Pete.  Many were the times I was home during the process and I would talk to Max or Terry and ask questions about the installation, remodeling or electrical work.  They were always courteous and answered all my questions to my satisfaction.  They are good people.

I should add that Linda and I are very pleased with our final product-it is everything we envisioned our kitchen would be.  And everyone who has come to our home since has marveled at the beautiful kitchen.  In fact, one of their first questions always is-who installed your kitchen?

Thank you for assembling such a wonderful group of professionals to work with.  We will not hesitate to call McKenna’s the next time we have a project in mind.

We are writing to let you know how pleased we are with our gorgeous new kitchen and the talented people you have working for you.

Lewis Drake designed a highly functional, beautiful kitchen with all the bells and whistles.  He has a great sense of style and a no pressure approach.

Pete Steltmann was our project supervisor, in charge of the whole process and he was outstanding.  Pete was always accessible and cheerfully took care of any issue.  He is highly professional and very much a perfectionist.  We felt so assured with Pete in charge.  This gave us great peace of mind and a finished project that is sheer perfection.

Paul Bradstreet was our carpenter extraordinaire and he did an amazing job.  His work speaks for itself.  He has a wonderful eye for detail and is a fine craftsman.  He gave us his best every day.

Mike Leone and Jim Evans were our plumbers and did a great job of re-plumbing our kitchen.  Everything works wonderfully and was done in a timely fashion and with great attitudes.  Both Mike and Jim were very professional and hard working.

Terry Smith lit up the whole project with his fine electrical skills.  Terry did a wonderful job installing the lighting, switches and dimmers.  Everything was set in just the right place.  He even upgraded our electrical panel.

We are so pleased with our beautiful kitchen and just wanted you to know that you have a fantastic and extremely professional crew working for you.  They did an amazing job and were a pleasure to have in our home.

My husband and I chose McKenna’s to do our kitchen remodeling job on the recommendation of some friends.  We wanted you to know what a pleasant experience it was to work with your crew and how pleased we are with the end result----a beautiful and functional kitchen.

Jenn Richards took my vision and my wish list seriously and incorporated almost all the ideas into her design.  She was always available to answer questions and to calm anxieties.  Jennifer visited the work site frequently and even was on the lookout for accessories and ideas to complement the new décor.  At the end of the project she presented us with a beautiful Spanish bowl, which was such a lovely gesture on her part. 

Our friends told us we had to ask for Pete Steltmann.  He did a great job with the project managment.  The Scope of Work document was clear and during the initial visits to the house he answered questions in the necessary detail.  The same was true for the additional work authorizations.  I was very impressed by how efficiently the work progressed.  Pete was always available and when a problem arose I knew that if I called him I would be called back quickly and that the problem would be resolved.  He has obviously assembled a crew of very talented workers and expects excellent work from them.

Jim Bessey, our lead carpenter was a calm meticulous craftsman and a great source of information on all aspects of the project.  He was genuinely concerned that our kitchen be beautiful and functional and really wanted us to be pleased with it.  All of the team where respectful of our home.

We are enjoying our kitchen immensely.  Many of our friends and family members have visited recently and have admired the work and asked about your company.  Perhaps our recommendation will send some new client your way.  It has been a pleasure work with this great group from McKenna’s.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how extremely pleased I am with the remodeling job that your company performed for us.  I was very pleased with the professionalism of Bonnie St Dennis, Pete Steltmann and especially the workers Shawn and Brian.  They were very helpful from the start with the design phase, materials selection, installation and on-time completion.  Pete was instrumental in making sure the job was scheduled in a timely fashion and he stayed on top of the project from beginning to end.  Bonnie displayed knowledge and expertise in her function as our overall contact for the entire project.  She was here when needed to ensure things were going as expected.  Shawn and Brian must be two of your best workers because they were the key to this fantastic experience.  They came in everyday pleasant and ready to work.  They worked from the time they arrived until it was time for them to leave.  They treated my home and property as if it were their own.  They were meticulous and did not hesitate to ask questions to ensure we got exactly what we wanted.

You can probably tell my husband and I are very pleased with this job.  We have had many remodeling jobs done in the past and those experiences come nowhere close to this one.  You have a fantastic team and I would highly recommend your company to all.

Thank you for having a bunch of people doing the work who made us fell like our money was well spent.  We don’t get this type of treatment often.
