McKenna’s was recommended to us by friends because they spoke so highly of all aspects of the planning and implementation.  After seeing the excellent outcome of their project, we concluded that McKenna’s would do fine work in our home as well.

Our kitchen sales associate  realized the perfect design in a creative and personalized manner.  Her ability to balance design with concrete application, her eye for detail, her skill in working diplomatically and sensitively with couples and attention to the financial aspect of certain choices are among her many noteworthy qualities.

Mike Schell, a very knowledgeable bath specialist, was wonderful in helping us make appropriate choices for the modification of our bathroom.  Mike anticipated potential challenges that our bathroom space provided and even called us after we left to advise us of additional implications of some of our choices.

Paul , what a creative, knowledgeable, talented craftsman.  He was able to foresee complications, make recommendations and alter his work accordingly.  The special touches he brought to the kitchen project are a tribute to a craftsman who goes beyond all expectations to meet his own very high standards.

Pete Steltmann was superb as the project manager.  His knowledgeable, calm, creative and sure approach to our project kept the work moving along in a methodic, efficient manner.  It seemed there was no challenge that he could not deal with, no question that could not be addressed in a timely and thorough manner.  His demeanor invites a well-deserved confidence.

Dear Mr. McKenna,

My wife Dora and I recently had a kitchen installed by your company.  I can’t describe how happy and satisfied my wife is with the end result.  You can imagine the gleam in her eyes when her friends’ comments include, “beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, and WOW” .  In our house a happy Dora is a happy John.

What I’m writing about is not to thank you for the beautiful kitchen, but to compliment you on the great staff you have. Not once during the entire process was I disappointed or turned off by something said or done by your employees. At every step of the way I was very impressed with their knowledge and experience.  The relaxed, friendly manner in which they conducted themselves helped control our anxieties and concerns. The respect they showed not only Dora and me, but to our home and property was beyond anything I  could have expected.  Thank you.

Of course I feel the need to mention a few people by name. Without Armand to design and ease us through the whole process the job would not have happened. He gave us

Useable and sensible advice and ideas that helped guide us through our whole remodeling project.  He is Dora’s “HERO” He was right on the money in so many ways.  Jim Bessey installed the cabinets. He was an artist at work.  His work was absolutely perfect, I learned a lot from him, as he had the patience  to answer all of my questions.  He always had a practical solution to any problem.  It was a pleasure to have him in m y home. Pete Steltmann answered a number of my questions very patiently also and Terry Smith was meticulous in his wiring job.

Thanks for having such great people working for you. We know we came to the right place for our new kitchen.

Dear Mr. McKenna,

We are writing to tell you how pleased we are with the work Cheryl Van and Pete Steltmann recently did in our kitchen.

On a Saturday in May last year we had a problem with our septic system and we called McKenna’s on the recommendation of Clair’s sister.  The gentleman who came to our home was remarkably polite and professional despite the fact that he was performing a job that few individuals would like to do, especially on a Saturday. Because of our pleasant experience with him we called your store to talk about our kitchen renovation.

When we contacted you, we had the good fortune to get connected with Cheryl  Van.

Cheryl worked with us for months to design and redesign our new kitchen.  Paying attention to every last detail she provided insights that derive from her experience and expertise, but at the same time she listened to our needs and desires and yielded to them when appropriate. The entire process from start to finish, including the build, was collaborative and enjoyable.  The final design is beautiful and functional. Everyone who has entered our kitchen since it was completed has commented on the efficient and innovative use of space, as well as the quality of materials used.  After living with our kitchen for a few months now, there is nothing that we would change.  Cheryl did a remarkable job.

This overwhelmingly positive experience with Cheryl continued when the work actually began.  Pete Steltmann had been working with us during the design process to answer some structural questions but when the work actual began his skills, interpersonal, building and managerial, really became apparent.  He began the job when promised and continued to keep the lines of communication channels open throughout the entire job, two things many of our friends have complained about when they talk of jobs they have had done. The crew that Pete brought to the job was uniformly skilled and professional.  Each day we noticed the quality and precision with which everything was done. In all of our interactions, everyone at McKenna’s  was polite and absolutely professional.

This experience was a very good one and we have and will continue to recommend McKenna’s to all of our friends. We want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with Cheryl and Pete and the rest of the people you sent to work at with us.

McKenna’s,

Thank you for an outstanding job renovating our kitchen.  Working with Joe Stuhler on the design convinced us that we wanted to work with you.  Project manager Pete Steltmann came up with a comprehensive Scope of Work and then kept the project on task and on schedule.  The workmanship of Terry Smith and Mike Leone was exceptional, and we can not say enough  good things about the quality, attention to detail and exceptional consideration and skill of carpenter Dominic Renaldo.  Doing this renovation  in the dead of a harsh winter had us concerned about  how the work would affect the rest of our house and the garage staging area.  Your crew did a remarkable job at minimizing disruptions and they very considerately protected surfaces and entryways.  There was much discussion about technical details that your crew listened to, quickly grasped the concepts and then came up with creative and durable solutions.  You understand this business and you are all very good at it.  Many thanks…

 Dear Mr. McKenna,

     I am writing to tell you how pleased and excited I am with my “new” townhouse renovations  by McKenna’s.   I must compliment all of the personell I have worked with since this began last March.

    Pete and Gary took photo’s of the  “old”, Cheryl worked up new designs for the kitchen.  The three offered suggestions for changes I never thought possible.   Dominic, Terry and Bob arrived on October 31,  and the demolition began.  Later, Jim, Bryan and Mike were part of what I call the “transformation” of the kitchen, powder room and full bath.  Everyone was capable, polite and certainly professionals

     With hardwood flooring installation, painting  by Kevin and some carpeting by Perinton carpet, I have a home I am so proud of.
